Lachlan Murdoch

Lachlan Keith Murdoch is an Australian media heir and businessman. He is currently the Executive Chairman of Nova Entertainment, Executive CoChairman of News Corp and 21st Century Fox, the founder of Australian investment company Illyria Pty Ltd, and a director of Sydneys Museum of Contemporary Art.

Lachlan Murdoch was born onSeptember 1971 in London, England, in the United Kingdom. He is the eldest son of AustralianAmerican media mogul Rupert Murdoch, and his second wife, Scottish journalist and author Anna Murdoch Mann. He was raised in a wealthy New York City neighbourhood where his father owned the New York Post. He received his education at the exclusive Aspen Country Day School in Aspen, Colorado , Trinity School in New York City as well as at the Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts . He graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University.
